TravelMap tracking app
NEW: We've just created a new Android and iOS app with a built-in tracker.
Requires having a Premium Plus account and a 3G/4G/5G plan.
Presentation: travelmap.net/live-trackingIt can only be used as a tracking app. It's not a replacement for the current web-based TravelMap administration.
We're still waiting to be approved on the Play/App Stores. Meanwhile, contact us if you want to help us testing the app.
Once installed, you just need to login and tap on « Start tracking ».
You'll need to accept sharing your location « All the time » so that the tracking works even when the screen is locked or the app is closed.
The tracking data (latitude, longitude, date and time) is sent to our servers directly and only used to update your map.
You'll also need to accept sharing your « Motion & Fitness Activity » so that the GPS chip can be turned off when your device is not moving.
The app is highly optimized to track your itinerary without draining your battery.
You'll be able to choose the level of accuracy you want for your itinerary and if you want it to be updated in real time or delayed.
