You can change the distance unit used to display distances associated with your spots (requires having a Premium account) or used to display the map scale.
- open your TravelMap administration
- open: the Settings page > My account > Distance unit
- choose either:
- Kilometers
- Miles
- Nautical miles
- click on Update
If you already entered a distance for a spot like "100 km", it will simply display "100 mi". So you'll have to recalculate the distance from your map page manually.
Change the distance unit for a specific trip
If you want to use a different distance unit for a specific, you can edit the advanced options of that trip.
For instance, you might display your roadtrips in kilometers but one specific boat trip in nautical miles.
