There are several ways to add a new spot on your map.
Click on a place name
You can zoom into the map and directly click on any city name, depending on your preference.
Here's an example below where I simply tapped on Paris:
Right click anywhere on the map
If you want to add a spot somewhere on the map that doesn't have a name, you can right click (or long press on touch screens) anywhere on the map.
Optional: drag your new spot
You can be even more precise by dragging the added spot anywhere.
Use the search box
Example: type Paris inside the search box:
Note: the results are using open-source data from the OpenStreetMap project. They're not as accurate as the results provided by Google Maps or other private companies.
Use your current location
If you want to add new spot to show where you are, you can simply click inside the search box and select Current location
This Current location button is a convenient shortcut to manually add a spot to your admin map. It is not to be confused with the Live Tracking feature that can add spots automatically from a GPS device.
Import GPS files
New spots can also be added by importing GPS files.
Enter coordinates
You can directly enter coordinates in the decimal format if you happen to know them.
Example: type 44.558956, 6.079220 in the search box
Finally SAVE your new spot
Make sure you click on Save to confirm adding your new spot.
