As explained in the article Understanding TravelMap, creating an account on TravelMap will provide you with a link to your blog.
So if you want to share your blog with your family and friends, you just need to share this link.
Copying your link
If you choose a simple username, you'll have a simple link. It will look like this:
- https://your-username.travelmap.net
You can spell it out but it's easier to send it digitally. So you'll need to copy it either from the email you received after creating your account or from your administration:
- open the Dashboard page
- click on the Share icon
- click on the button Copy link
Note: the "Share to Facebook" or "Share to WhatsApp" buttons on the Share page are just shortcuts to copy/paste your link into these apps.
Sending your link
Once you've copied your link, you can paste it into an email, a WhatsApp message, a SMS, a Facebook status message, etc. and send it to anyone you want.
Note: if you choose to protect your blog with a password, you'll also need to share that blog password.
Alert your followers
If you update your blog and want to let your followers know about it, you can either tell them directly via your own messaging app or you can send an email alert to a list of contacts.
