You don't need a website to use TravelMap: your blog is already online. But if you have a website or blog of your own, you can show your TravelMap on it too. This is called embedding.
To embed your map:
- open your TravelMap administration
- open the Settings page
- open the Integration page
- open the Code tab
- copy the HTML code and paste it on your website
Ask the person managing your website if you're not sure how to add this HTML code.
Free and Premium
- With a free account, your website shows a static preview of your map, always up to date. One click opens it in full on TravelMap.
- With a Premium account, the map is interactive: visitors can zoom, open your spots and photos, and expand the map to full screen, all without leaving your website. Display options are on the Integration page.
- If your Premium account ends, nothing breaks: your website goes back to showing the preview.
Tip: try to embed your map in a container that is at least 1024 pixels wide to show the list of spots next to the map. In a narrower container, visitors switch between a Map tab and a Timeline tab instead.
