The color of your lines is defined by the transport mode used by each of your spots. And the map legend is automatically generated based on the transport modes used by your spots.
By default you can choose from a list of 10 pre-defined transport modes (driving, hiking, cycling, etc.).
If you want to change the color and name of your lines, you can create custom transport modes:
This option requires having a Premium account (at least while you create the custom transport modes, then you'll still be able to use them once your paid account expires).
- open your TravelMap administration
- open the Settings page
- open the Transport modes page
- click on New
- choose a name and select a color
- click on Add
You can now use this transport mode when adding new spots.
For existing spots, you'll need to update them to use this new transport mode. If that represents too much manual work, contact us and we'll update all your spots for you.
