TravelMap uses an interactive map that uses your device's graphics card. Some browsers restrict access to the graphics card because of privacy or security settings, which can prevent the map from loading.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1 — Make sure your browser is up to date
Using a recent browser version is strongly recommended for compatibility, stability, and security. Outdated browsers are not supported and cannot display the interactive map.
If an update is available, install it, restart the browser, and reload the map page.
Step 2 — Check your browser's privacy and graphics settings
Some browsers restrict access to the graphics card when privacy or security settings are set to a strict mode.
To check:
- Open your browser Settings
- Look for sections such as Privacy, Security, or Advanced
- Make sure that:
- The option "Use graphics acceleration when available" is enabled if present
- Advanced graphics features such as WebGL are not blocked
- The browser is not using a strict or hardened privacy mode
- Restart the browser and reload the map
Step 3 — Check browser extensions
Some extensions can prevent interactive content from working.
- Temporarily disable extensions related to privacy, security, or content blocking
- Reload the map page
- If the map loads, re-enable extensions one by one to identify the cause
Step 4 — Private / Incognito mode
In some browsers, Private or Incognito mode applies stricter privacy rules that can limit access to advanced graphics features.
Close the private window, open the map again in a normal browser window, and reload the page.
If the map still does not load
On some devices, access to browser graphics is restricted by system or organization rules and cannot be changed.
To check if this is the case, try opening the map on another browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.) or on another device (another smartphone or computer).
